UPDOG PACÍFICO | Guardería Peluquería Canina

Every day when I walk my dog, I see the girl who cares for and walks the dogs from this place. She walks them with utter reluctance, doesn't let them sniff or stop to do anything, and if they don't listen to her, she loses her temper very quickly. When she gets to the park next to the tracks, she stays just long enough to take a photo of them as proof that they were walked, but the dogs don't even have time to do anything; on top of that, she gets angry with them and loses her patience because they won't hold still for the blasted photo. She is always in a bad mood. As soon as she gets the photo, she leaves. A complete sham. I would never leave my dog with that person.

Excellent service, my dog's haircut turned out great. Thank you ☺️☺️

I left my dog there, and he came out super happy and giving Manu a thousand kisses! Great place to look after our dogs when we can't do it ourselves.

I took my chihuahua Oswald for daycare and I'm super happy. Great service and my dog was very well cared for, I will definitely be back.

The dog haircut is great; it really turned out very well. The reason I am leaving this review is that my dog arrived in perfect condition for his grooming, and after 3 and a half hours (over an hour late compared to the agreed time), he was returned to me with very red eyes and very agitated. Hours later, we had to take him to the vet because he couldn't open his eyes. Vet's report: An ulcer in each eye caused by an injurious or abrasive element. So, factoring this in along with the total cost of grooming (€60) and the vet bill (€70), that is why I am writing this review. I must say the groomers were concerned about the dog's condition when we told them, but understandably, nothing makes up for the dog being on treatment for several days and barely able to open his eyes.

The groomer is a good professional, she treated my dogs very well, and I am happy with the result. However, I feel the customer service was not as polite as it should have been. I arrived 8 minutes before my appointment, and they told me that since the groomer wasn't there yet, I had to wait outside on the street. It was starting to rain, and I politely asked if I could stay in a corner (which has a sofa set up as a waiting area) or inside the salon (there was absolutely no one and no other dog). They told me no, that I would be in the way. So I had to wait in the street. I think this is poor customer service, especially considering the price you pay.

I leave my Golden at the daycare from time to time and I couldn't be happier. They send you photos and videos throughout the day and keep you updated on how they are doing. 100% recommended.

I can only express my gratitude for how patiently they listened to my questions. My two little dogs are older and adopted. Negri came out very calm, and since Enzo has heart failure and is very nervous, they want to meet and evaluate him before giving him a bath. Thank you

My experience was very good, our dog looked beautiful. Good job by the girls and they are super friendly, I recommend it 100%. 👍

Today I took my little dog Candy for a bath and haircut, and I couldn't be happier with the result! Candy isn't a big fan of baths and she's also quite skittish, so for me it's essential to find a place where she feels comfortable and safe. From the very beginning, they gave me so much peace of mind: they asked me several questions about her, whether she had any pain, allergies, how she behaved, etc., and that made me feel super reassured because you can tell they work with great dedication and professionalism. The result looked gorgeous, but above all, I loved seeing that Candy was treated wonderfully and came out happy and calm 🥰 We are definitely coming back. Thank you so much for taking such good care of my dog! 🐶💕

Super delighted with this service 🤩🤩🤩

Incredible experience, the customer service. I would definitely return.

Very happy with the treatment/service!!!

Excellent service and attention. The staff is very attentive, kind, and pleasant. Daniela, the groomer, was very professional and loving with my fur baby, who turned out looking gorgeous; she did an excellent job. I recommend it 100%.

Excellent service. Right from the start, they understood the needs of my dogs, as they are a bit skittish. I feel completely at peace whenever I drop them off and when they spend the night with some of the caregivers. A special mention to Noemí and Manu for their affection and attentiveness. Highly recommended.

They are the best. They treat the pets who visit with so much love, everyone is welcomed with great affection, and they keep us updated throughout the day with photos and videos.

Very happy with the service and the attention provided. I took my dog Gorda for a grooming appointment and they were very kind in explaining how the daycare works. I'm sure I will end up using this service too. Thank you!

A wonderful daycare! My little dog goes super happy. They are wonderful with the dogs 🙃 highly recommended!

My experience was very disappointing. Before booking, I asked both by phone and via WhatsApp whether the "bath only" service included nail trimming and filing, as well as ear cleaning. On both occasions they confirmed that it did, which is why I accepted the appointment. When I later mentioned that I had booked precisely based on that information, they started qualifying absolutely everything and claiming that I had asked for "bath only," as if the information they had previously given me did not matter. Furthermore, the way I was treated during the conversation was unkind and I felt spoken to rudely. It didn't bother me that those services weren't included; what bothered me was being misinformed from the beginning and, when I pointed it out, instead of acknowledging the mistake, they tried to justify it. For that reason, I decided to cancel the appointment. Clearer customer service and a more respectful attitude would have prevented this entire situation.

My little dog Petra goes happily every time I take her! The staff who work there are super loving with her! Super happy with them.

Taking my little ones there and discovering that they treat them like family is truly priceless; the human warmth and care of their staff is unmatched. I give 5 ⭐️ because I can't give more. They leave my furry babies looking picture-perfect..

Thank you so much, my Sasha looks very handsome, I loved his haircut. Border collie.

Excellent service, care, and dedication to each of the dogs. We truly know they are in a good place, safe just like at home. And we can have peace of mind. They keep you updated on their stay there. And the grooming is super wonderful.

I couldn't be happier with them than I already am. I take my dachshund Alfie from time to time if I need to because of work or if he needs to burn off some energy, and he always pulls me all the way to daycare because he has a blast. And when we get home, he is exhausted from so much fun and sleeps like a log. The whole team is super nice, and I love the photos and videos they send me.

Our dog is quite fearful, and we wanted to get her a dental cleaning without anesthesia to spare her the stress of sedation and also because she has some health issues. We found this option and are very pleased with the result; we spared her the ordeal of anesthesia and her teeth were left very clean. Throughout the process, they kept us updated on everything—whether she was doing well and staying calm, how long they would take, and when they finished so we could pick her up—which we really appreciated since we were a bit worried. The treatment and service were very good from the first moment to the last. We will definitely return when it's needed again.

I take my 5-month-old puppy, he is thrilled, has fun, and has improved in many ways since he started going in January. The caregivers are lovely and you can tell they love and care for the pets. Considering how messy animals can be, the facility is super clean. My puppy scratches at the door for them to open it and barks because he's eager to go inside. I am very happy.

I just picked up my dog after getting his teeth cleaned. The service was excellent, both for Trisky and for us. They sent us a before-and-after photo of the cleaning. Totally recommended. We will definitely be back. Thank you very much

Good daycare service, the dog leaves very happy.

Extremely outrageous. I took my dog to this place for the first time, and from the start they refused to tell me how much the service would cost. When I went back to pick him up, the surprise was devastating: they basically shaved my dog and charged me €50 for it. I know poodle hair is tricky, but for this "haircut" they shouldn't even charge half that. This is neither professional work nor worth the price. I will never go back again.

We took our dog in for tartar removal and he turned out great. They were done in just over half an hour. Plus, they are very pleasant to deal with.

Edo goes very happily, the staff is wonderful, very friendly and professional, and when he goes they always send you videos and photos. Regarding the grooming, I had taken Edo to another place and they didn't do a good job, but at UpDog they left him looking fantastic. I recommend it to you both for daycare and grooming.

Albin had his first cleaning today using the method they use at UpDog and it was a wonderful experience!! It turned out a 10/10 and the service was excellent! Highly recommended!

Delighted with the way my dog was treated. Unfortunately, he wouldn't let them do the cleaning, but that's exactly what shows me that they prioritize the animal's well-being above all else, having the patience and sensitivity needed to understand that it wasn't the right time for him. Even so, I have to say that what they were able to do turned out incredible, and I'm looking forward to trying again. Thank you for the wonderful care.

Hello, I have already taken my dog Romeo for grooming on two occasions and I really liked it a lot. Super good service. The last time, in fact, I was much happier than the first because they sent me photos to ask me how it looked to me or if I wanted to change anything about the haircut. Romeo turned out super handsome 😍

Exceptional service, they are lovely. They did an anesthesia-free dental cleaning on my dog, and I was thrilled with the result. 100% recommended.

Excellent service from Daniela with my little dog Elenita's dental hygiene. I went today and was very happy with her professionalism and patience.. thank you so much, I am very, very happy. See you next time!!

I was lucky enough to come across this daycare and I couldn't be happier. We left my dog Lluna at the daycare and boarding with Noe for three days. My dog is a Shiba Inu, so she has a bit of a particular personality, but Noe and the daycare team knew how to take great care of her, and we stayed in touch every day so I could see that she was doing well and happy. Without a doubt, I will leave her there again whenever I go away. Thank you so much Noe & team.

A 10/10 experience. I contacted them based on recommendations, and even though it was short notice and during the August holiday period, they gave me no trouble at all; everything was made easy so they could board my dog. She had a great time during her stay with Noemí, who sent me videos to see how she was doing, took her on long walks, and completely adapted to your dog. Without a doubt, a perfect place where they will care for your dog as well as you would, or even better. A thousand thanks!!

Eco is super happy going to daycare, and when we pick him up and he gets home he's exhausted and turns into a rug-dog. They send videos and photos every day so you can see them, and you can tell how well they take care of them. Highly recommended!

The other day was the first time I took my dog to this groomer. I had been very happy with another one I found 2-3 years ago, but now that we've tried this one, it is undoubtedly the best. In the last 9 years, I don't remember anyone leaving him looking so good. They removed all his shedding coat, I had forgotten how much his coat could shine, and I realized the poor thing wasn't actually fat (and there I was putting him on a diet 😂😂😂). I've already booked the next appointment so they can always keep him looking this great, and I certainly recommend them, not to mention how well they treated him.

Today was our first time there and we are super happy. Noemí and Manu welcomed and assisted us. Friendly and communicative. At the center, they did an ultrasound teeth cleaning on our Duque. We are extremely pleased with the specialist's work and thrilled with the results. Our little dog had some very unsightly and dark teeth. He looks gorgeous now, with sparkling white teeth. Very fair price. No anesthesia and safe. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Wonderful service, everyone is very kind and they love dogs! 💕

Couldn't be better!! Bruce has a great time! On the first day he thought he was going to the groomer and didn't want to go in. The next day he was already running in, wagging his tail! He never wants to leave my side, but at daycare he doesn't mind! 😁 They are all wonderful! I never imagined it would be so great!! I'm very happy and Bruce even more so!

I am not a customer, but I must leave this review because of what I saw and to warn the workers at this place. Just this afternoon from the street, I saw a little dog waiting in the grooming area without any worker inside the room; so far nothing unusual, but it is dangerous. You have a jug of bleach on the floor that the animal, being nervous, could knock over or the cap could come off... leading to serious consequences... please check that and remove it from that area where they are locked up and nervous. I was going to go in to let you know, but there was no one outside. Occupational hazards must also be monitored for their sake. I hope not to see the bleach inside again. Thank you.

Brought my Labrador husky mix in for grooming (major shedding) and they did the impossible - I could pet her without hair coming off! Her toes were overgrown and I couldn’t get her shedding to stop and they took care of everything. €42 for 2 hours of really good grooming. Thank you!

They recommended the best type of haircut for my little dog, very professional and friendly, they kept in touch with me at all times. I usually don't trust places easily regarding how pets are treated, but I think I will return, they gave me confidence ☺️

Last weekend we had a little unexpected situation and had to find somewhere to leave our dog for the entire weekend. Right from the first call, Noemí gave us a lot of confidence, and throughout the weekend she kept sending us videos and updates on how Koa was doing. Saying she is highly recommended is an understatement. Thank you so much, Noemí, really; as I already told you, Koa is the most important thing to us, and we were completely at peace the entire weekend.

Very good results and very good service.

I loved my dog's haircut. Daniela trimmed her fur and nails, she turned out beautiful, thank you. P.S.: I'm sharing a photo.

I've been with them ever since they opened, bringing Trufa whenever I need to, which is usually one full day a week. I'm delighted. You only have to see how all the furry ones walk in to know they are doing wonderfully. I feel that Trufa is well cared for and that they give her lots of love. What's more, they go above and beyond: they pamper them, play with them, put on relaxing music for their nap... and they always keep you updated, which gives you so much reassurance and peace of mind. Noe and Manuel are top-notch, 10/10 professionals. Trufa walks in first thing in the morning and gives Noe huge kisses (that says it all to me..). And with the other dogs too, they all get along great despite being such different breeds. I hope everything continues like this, with Noe and Manu always nearby!!!

For our dog, it's his second home. He goes happily because of the love and dedication with which they treat both the animals and the people. Highly recommended, completely trustworthy.

Very good experience. Senda goes very happily and comes back completely relaxed, which is very good since she is a very active dog. Thanks to Noe and Manu for their affection and great care for the fur babies.

I use the daycare at UpDog Pacífico. I can say that the facilities are very nice, new, and that Noemí and Manu are lovely, but no one can give you a better recommendation than your own dog. After taking him for his first trial day, Coco walked me right back there the next day to stay again. For him, going to daycare is a celebration, and I have peace of mind knowing that he is well taken care of and having a blast playing with other dogs.

Roy goes to daycare every day. He is a dog with a panic of being left alone, but not only does he go to daycare super happy because of how much he loves the staff and how much fun he has with the other pups, but they are also helping us work through his fears. Since he started with them a few months ago, Roy is learning to be able to stay home alone for a little while, at least allowing us to go grocery shopping or do similar errands. Plus, now he is even friendlier with other dogs when we are walking down the street, probably because it reminds him of the great time he has with them there! Without a doubt, the best place we could have found to help Roy overcome his panic attacks and give us peace of mind while we are at work.

I had an issue with Maya and didn't know what to do during the hours the cleaners came to the house, and the solution was to leave her at daycare—something frankly I never thought I would do. The service is magnificent; it's impressive how much they care for the dogs and how happy they come and go being together with so many dogs of such different temperaments and breeds. You do a wonderful job, both Manuel and Noelia. All my gratitude. I hope you continue for many years to come. Lots of love from Maya.

They are wonderful! We love taking Oscar there. He has stayed 3 nights with them and we have also taken him to get his hair cut. The care and attention are exceptional, both with us and with Oscar. We love it! 🥰🫶🏻

My dog Gilda visits daycare a couple of days a week. She walks in happy, and they pamper her and take wonderful care of her there. And best of all, she comes home exhausted from spending the day with other dogs.

Good service but poor administration

EXCELLENT dog grooming, and the personal service is exceptional. They always leave my "Chispa" looking amazing 🤩 and the affection they show her... 😊 In the daycare, I see the dogs looking happy and very well cared for 🐶

In terms of dog grooming, they are EXCELLENT. They always make my cocker spaniel look incredible. 🙌 I haven't used the daycare, but I wouldn't rule it out since I always see the loving care they treat the dogs with

Delighted to leave my dog Kira with them, very good, I will come back again.

My dog Toffe has been going for 2 weeks, and he goes super happy. They are very kind, both with dogs and with humans!

I took my dog to the groomer for the first time and I am thrilled. Noemi was super nice, kept me informed about everything, and the groomer was an artist and super professional. Magnificent experience. I will be back.

We just had our dog bathed and left delighted. Thanks to Dalvin (grooming) for his work; our princess had never been left this clean before. At the grooming salon we used to take her to, she always left smelling like dampness/mildew and they told us it was because mastiffs just smelled that strong. Dalvin left her super soft, with a spectacular shine and a wonderful scent, all done with a warmth you can feel from the moment you walk in, plus super competitive prices. Thanks also to Manu's warm and caring service. Not only have you gained new clients/friends, but I recommend it 1000%. Thanks again, guys.

A very dedicated team. Our dog loves it there. Communication is clear, lots of feedback and pictures during the day, attention to details. Space is new and clean. Opening hours are super convenient. You can trust them to take good care of new pup. Thank you for your help and good care!

Perfect place to leave your dog for a few hours! The service is unbeatable!

100% recommendable, my dachshund wants nothing else but to go to daycare, every time he turns the corner and sees daycare he goes crazy!

My chow chow Caramelo has shiny fur and is happy at daycare.

My cousin, who was thrilled with them, recommended this daycare to me. To be honest, I felt a little bad at first. But seeing her little face every day when picking her up, I know she is perfectly cared for. I've been left feeling so at ease seeing how affectionate and attentive both Manu and Noe are with my little dog. 🐩💜

Fantastic place to leave my dog, everything very clean and the treatment towards the animals is extraordinary. Without a doubt I will repeat!!! Thank you very much!!!

I took my Podenco to spend the day, and I plan to leave him there as many times as needed... The staff was very attentive and kind to my pet 👌

I don't know who is happier, the dog or me! 100% recommended! The service is a true 10 out of 10!

I've been taking my little dog there since they opened, and we couldn't be happier at home. Peace of mind for us and happy for my little one!!!! Thank you so much, excellent service.

Very good daycare and grooming service. Our Pug had a hard time going to daycares, but fortunately, he goes to this one happily!!! Recommended.

Every time I take Rigodón there, he comes out thrilled and smelling like roses! In fact, he already knows the way to his groomer and goes all by himself!! 🌟

The experience at this dog boarding facility was exceptional. From the very first moment, I felt completely at ease leaving my pet in their hands. The team is very professional, loving, and attentive, always willing to provide updates on how my dog was doing. The facilities are spacious and clean, with play areas perfect for dogs to have fun and socialize. My dog came back happy and relaxed, which is the best sign that he had a great time. Definitely the best option for caring for our pets with complete peace of mind.

Wonderful staff! Great treatment of my dog! Very happy with the service!!! Highly recommended, I will definitely repeat.

Totally recommended, wonderful service. I have 2 dachshunds and it is my go-to trusted place; they go in and come out thrilled. 100% recommended.

Continuing from the previous review, as it didn't all fit. Well, that's when everything started going downhill. The next day we didn't hear from them, so we were the ones who wrote because we hadn't received any updates and time was running out before the daycare day we needed (it was Thursday and we needed it for the following Tuesday). They told us everything was fine, not to worry, that the issue was simply that they hadn't met yet, but that we should take it for granted. Well, the next day came the surprise: Noemí called us (the manager, I assume) to say she was very sorry, but Eivor could not stay there; they were afraid of his appearance and, although he is not classified as a potentially dangerous dog (PPP), he meets certain characteristics of one, and with much regret, they wouldn't take him. We were stunned, and naturally, our anger was huge over the discrimination and dishonesty of these people. The best part is that the very same day Eivor took the assessment test, there was a German Shepherd there considerably larger than him (these people must not know that a Czechoslovakian Vlcak is a cross with a German Shepherd, and apparently a German Shepherd doesn't meet the criteria they claim), as well as a few dogs considerably larger and heavier than Eivor. Furthermore, thinking we were uninformed, we politely asked where they had seen that he met the PPP criteria, to which they responded with several points (get this): - That the Czechoslovakian Vlcak isn't classified as potentially dangerous because it's a very new breed (the law classifying PPP is from 1999, the Czechoslovakian Vlcak breed dates to 1955—apparently 44 years wasn't enough time to see what they are like before the law came out, 69 years to this day). Not to mention the new law and their utter ignorance of it. And all this while defending PPP breeds, which Eivor isn't even one of. - That he jumped two 50 cm fences and that's a huge problem (even though they explained to us right there on the spot that it was completely fine, that it was quite normal, and that regarding security there was no issue at all). - That they are scared of his appearance, because at one point some dogs started barking and mine howled instead of barking (I hope they aren't also terrified of a Husky or a Malamute). - That yes, he had behaved very well, but... blah blah blah... - About the German Shepherd, "I'd rather not even answer you, because what's the point?" After a long time going back and forth on the phone, WhatsApp, on the phone again, etc., where they gave us the runaround about why they were kicking us out, we finally told them that Eivor was not going to stay there after the treatment we had received, after which they seemed relieved and the conversation ended. Our impression: they didn't want to keep Eivor because he is an active dog, plus he wasn't going to stay many days a month, so financially he takes up a spot they could give to dogs staying longer. They only want dogs that cause minimal bother and barely move, collect the cash, and that's it. We found the treatment we received an absolute disgrace, and of course, anyone we cross paths with on walks, friends, dog parks, and beyond already knows about this, because it's outrageous for people who claim to love dogs. We aren't giving 0 stars only because it's not possible. P.S.: "We can't keep him because imagine a lady coming to pick up a Dachshund and seeing this one next to it; she'll get scared and never come back." A LITERAL QUOTE. Anyway, everyone is free to do as they wish, but if you want to take your best friend to a place like this, good luck. PART 2/2

I am writing this review after several days of calm, because I preferred to calm down first. Here is my situation: I have a 10-month-old Czechoslovakian Vlcak, whom we have been training using positive reinforcement with a trainer since he was 3 months old. The dog is super obedient and sociable with both people and other dogs, given that it is a difficult breed and we have worked very hard to make him that way. Well, looking for a daycare for him to spend the day—since my partner and I overlap on a few select Tuesdays and it's too many hours to leave him alone (more than 12 hours)—we found this option and liked what they offered; an indoor facility with space to play whether it was summer or winter, and the facilities were super clean. In addition, they took them out several times a day to relieve themselves. We contacted them and they told us that the first step was to bring him in for a trial, because it is essential that the dog gets along with other dogs to be able to stay there. This seemed logical to us and gave us a good impression, so we told them the breed, age, and weight, and scheduled an appointment. We took him there, and when we walked in, they were super friendly from the start. Manu assisted us, asked us a few questions about Eivor, and asked if he was considered a BSL/PPP (potentially dangerous dog). We answered no, that he is not classified as a PPP either in Madrid or in Spain. He looked relieved and told us that they did not accept dogs of those breeds at the daycare; since they had only been open a short time, an inspection had come by and they weren't allowed to have them. This already started to bother us because, without even evaluating the dog, regardless of breed, it already seemed unfair to us (especially coming from people who claim to love dogs). Anyway, they explained how it worked: he would stay with them for two or three hours and then we would come back to pick him up. We left, and from the very beginning, they kept us updated with videos and super positive comments; he was having a great time, had adapted very well, and was playing with the other dogs there that afternoon (we have the videos). After three hours, we went to pick him up, and they reiterated what they had been telling us all along (and what we already knew): that Eivor is a super sociable dog, that he hadn't caused any trouble at all, and that he had behaved very well. They mentioned he had jumped over two small divider gates (50 cm high) that they have before the two security doors, but that it was normal—some dogs do that at first when nervous, but it was completely normal. It didn't pose any problem since there are two security doors after that which make it impossible for a dog to get through. Once again, they told us how good he was and that they just needed to have a meeting to give us the final OK to leave him there, but that he had behaved very well and there wouldn't be any problem; in fact, we even discussed making the payment right then so we wouldn't have to rush on the day of daycare. They said they would give us confirmation the following morning. PART 1/2

You can leave your dog with total confidence; Nilo arrives happy and comes back happy, it's just like being at home. The way they treat the dogs is wonderful, trustworthy as well as kind, and I'll soon try their grooming service. Thank you, Manu and Noe

I bring my dog Chandler to daycare on the days I'm at the office, and the truth is that I am extremely happy with the care. Noe and Manu love him so much, and you can tell they truly love what they do. Chandler is happy when I pick him up and arrives super excited in the mornings. They send me photos and videos every day and pamper him a lot. You are the best! 💘

Fantastic daycare and groomer where they take care of our girl as if she were their own. She goes happily and delighted, pulling on the leash every morning to see Noemí as soon as possible. 100% recommendable. Congratulations!!

My dog Nico is absolutely thrilled to go to daycare; the service is wonderful and they are very affectionate with the dogs. I have also tried the grooming salon and he looked great. An absolute 10/10 across all services.

Our doggy is happy and enjoys his stay at the daycare very much. He always wants to go, which is the best recommendation one could have. They care for them and show them affection with great professionalism. Thank you for offering this service in the neighborhood.

Delighted with the service and the result, my little dog Pulga looks beautiful, thank you so much.

Wonderful dog grooming salon. We have a Yorkshire terrier who is very fearful and usually has a pretty hard time at the groomer's, but here we felt they treated him very well. He came out looking handsome, clean, and smelling great.

The best service! I wouldn't leave my dog at any other boarding place than this one, I was super happy and at peace! Thank you Manu and Noe, the best!!

I just moved to the neighborhood and needed a place to leave my dog when I'm away. I tried the daycare with Manu and Noe, and they are wonderful people. My dog goes happily; you can tell they love and treat the dogs well. We also tried the grooming service, and she looks gorgeous. Highly recommended! Thanks guys!!!

Without a doubt, the best dog daycare and grooming salon I have ever tried. I 100% recommend it to anyone in the area!

I have been using this daycare since it opened because it's close to my home and I couldn't be happier! My little dog comes back home happy.

I use the daycare to leave my dog 3 days a week when I go to the office. Wonderful service and really lovely caregivers!
