I left my dog for almost two weeks and it was a wonderful experience. Considering it was the first time we were separated from him and we were a bit anxious, the Villamascota team was always attentive to our concerns, sending us photos and updating us on how everything was going. My dog came home happy and relaxed. We will definitely use them again.

I left my 45kg boy for a few days and was really worried about leaving him in a strange place, as he is quite distrustful of strangers, but it turned out to be a great experience. Besides sending me photos and videos on WhatsApp when I asked for them, he was happy when I went to pick him up, and I saw how affectionately the hotel staff treated him. We will definitely be back.

After having a very bad experience at another pet hotel, we arrived at this place with our XXL American Bully, Max, in a physical condition that worried us greatly. The difference has been incredible. Here they knew how to care for him, nurse him back to health, and, above all, restore his well-being and joy. Today we are heading home with a happy Max, much better recovered, and with the peace of mind of knowing he has been in good hands. We want to wholeheartedly thank the entire team for the affection, attention, and care they showed our pet. For us, Max is part of the family, and finding a place where he is treated with so much love means the world to us. We leave feeling very grateful and, without a doubt, we recommend this place to anyone looking for a spot where their pet will be truly cared for and loved. ❤️🐾 Thank you for everything you have done for Max!

I just picked up my two dogs after 11 days without seeing them. One of them is a Samoyed, and even though I dropped him off unbrushed, it shows that they brushed him during his stay at Villamascota. As for the American Staffordshire Terrier, classified as a potentially dangerous dog (PPP), they treated him wonderfully, just like any other dog. It is a pleasure to see animals treated this way, as other boarding facilities either don't take PPPs or keep them separated. You are a 10/10 team, my dogs will be back soon.

This is the second time I have taken my dog there. The first time I was happy, but this second time my heart sank when I went to pick her up. First of all, my dog has had dysplasia since she was a puppy; she is used to walks, running out to bark at people passing by the fence, and longer hikes without any issues. With wet tile floors we do have to be careful since she slips and can fall. When I went to pick her up, I found it strange that the staff member (who was kind and affectionate with the dog at all times) asked about her age and what condition she had. When I saw her, I understood. My dog could barely stand up; she tried, but her hind legs wouldn't respond. He couldn't give me any explanation, only that the dog had been like that for days. When Juan, the director, called me, he said that the dog had been like that since the first day and that's why he hadn't notified me—he thought it was normal and said he told the staff to take her out carefully. In 7 years, the dog has never been like this, and we take walks of well over 20 minutes (which is when they told me her back legs started giving out). The first day back was a disaster; the dog could barely walk and kept lying down. Little by little she has been recovering, but she is still not quite back to how she was before. We still don't know what could have happened to her to end up in that state; we have a pending appointment with the orthopedic vet as soon as he is back in office. The staff was attentive, even giving me their personal phone number in case I needed anything, and I appreciate the gesture, but I will not be taking any dog there ever again. I can't understand what could have happened for her to end up like this, but I am heartbroken and filled with regret every time I think about the condition I found her in.

A wonderful experience! We left our little dog Candela at Villamascota and we couldn't be happier with the care she received. From the very first moment, you can see the love and professionalism with which they care for the animals. Candela came back happy, calm, and very well looked after. They sent us videos and photos during her stay, which gave us great peace of mind. Without a doubt, we will be back and we 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for a safe, loving environment. They also have an excellent home pick-up and delivery service. Thank you for everything!

They take great care of your pet. Every time I pick up Zara, she comes out wagging her tail, and when I see her loose around the place, she roams freely without fear and with ease. It gives me peace of mind. They have plenty of yards/play areas, and I can tell they take the dogs out quite a lot. The staff—the two guys I dealt with—were very pleasant. I have tried several places, and this is by far the one where I feel most confident leaving Zara. Thank you.

Good place for the pet, but I had a bad customer service experience with the employee Juan. They did me the favor—very grateful for that—of letting me pick up my dog after 6:00 PM (paying for an extra night, of course, and with no issue on my part). Due to circumstances beyond my control, I had to notify them that the pickup would be delayed a bit more, still within a reasonable time (7:45 PM), and Juan chewed me out over the phone worse than on a school playground, only to finally do what his boss had told him, which was to make an exception for me and hand over the dog later. That said, we arrived at 7:30 PM and he kept us waiting at the gate, outside, without attending to us until 8:00 PM, only for another guy to finally show up; he didn't come. I had to put up with Juan's bad attitude and the threat of not being able to pick him up, even though they had already told me yes. In conclusion, the place is great, the service is great, until you deal with Juan and his rudeness toward customers, likely because doing the favor his boss instructed him to do was inconvenient for him. Very bad experience yesterday. It's not the first time I've boarded my dog there, but Juan couldn't have cared less about that either. Anyway...

I have taken my dog there several times and I am very happy. Juan (the owner) is very kind and loves dogs very much. Every time my dog goes, she gets beside herself with joy and doesn't even look at me when I leave! You can bring whatever you want so the dog has the best possible time while there. The only downside I would point out (if it can even be considered that) is that they don't send you photos or videos of the dog during the stay. I know it's not a big deal, but I think they would earn points if they did.

Great!! The truth is that the experience has been very good. Ramón and Juan have been wonderful with Eivor and with us; they explained everything to us and resolved all our doubts. We have a Czechoslovakian Vlcak puppy, and we had visited different places (boarding and daycare) where we were rejected because of his breed. Finally, we found them. At first, our dog was scared since everything was new to him, but from that moment on, they helped us and gave us options so Eivor could get to know the place and them little by little, helping him stay calm. Ramón took great care of Eivor and spent time with him and with us to make sure everything went well—a 10/10 experience. Eivor has already stayed several nights, stays calm, and plays with other dogs. Honestly, they take great care of him, keep you updated on how he is doing, and send photos. We finally found a place where they don't give us any trouble about his food (natural food that needs to be refrigerated), let alone his breed. It is a pleasure to see that they genuinely care about the dogs and about keeping their owners at ease. What I liked the most is that they dedicate time and effort to get to know the dog, see his personality, understand when he is more nervous, and figure out which dogs he gets along with best, rather than just judging him by his breed.

My dog is 11 years old, and she spent four days at Villamascota for the first time. She was recovering from tendinitis, limping on one leg, and taking medication. While there, she recovered and looked very well and happy. The facilities were very clean and they have several very spacious yards. They wrote down all the information about my dog (special feeding schedule I brought for her, medication times, treats), and they even asked if I wanted her walked alone, with other dogs, or to leave the assessment up to the trainer. Everyone was very attentive, providing photos and videos whenever I asked. The first time is harder because you don't know the place and don't know if she'll be okay. In my case, it was a great choice. Thank you very much.

We have taken our dogs twice, an 11-year-old Pitbull and a two-year-old Mastiff mix. The staff's treatment has been lovely; if you contact them to send photos, they do so without any problem, and regarding contact for reservations or any questions, they are very friendly and quick. The facility and the kennels are very nice. We haven't had any problems. Without a doubt, we will rely on their boarding again if we need it. Thank you very much.

It's unbelievable that they have multiple photos of dogs with CHOKE COLLARS and don't even care about showing it. It says everything about these people and their acceptance of mistreating dogs. Thankfully, they have the photos on display, making it easy to decide so quickly where never to go.

I do not recommend leaving them with them at all. We left our two dogs with them for 5 days and their beds came back full of poop and pee. This shows that their basic needs were not met, as they never do their business at home. Furthermore, they don't let you pick them up on a Sunday, which is when we have the most availability due to work... just to charge for an extra night. The dogs came back starving; I would like to see the food portions they were given.

We picked up our dog at 2:30 in the afternoon, extremely hungry and without having been taken out to relieve himself; as soon as we left the place, he did all his business in under 2 minutes, meaning he was practically about to burst.

My female dog arrived with a fungal infection, and Ramón took care of treating her every day; when we picked her up, she was completely recovered. I left my dogs Jara and Nube when they were in their first heat, and their caretakers were very careful not to put them with other male dogs. They have been at Villamascota for two months and are doing very well. One caretaker noticed that Nube was losing hair on her face and immediately notified me by phone, and he applies the treatment himself every day for her recovery. Whenever I can visit them, they are very happy and enjoy running and playing with me in the yard. They are professionals who take good care of the animals; they let you know how they are doing when you call and send photos and videos. Good afternoon, I am giving 5 stars not because of the receptionist (Marga), whose customer service is not very pleasant. I think she should treat clients better since we leave our pet with complete trust. I have been taking her there for a long time and I continue to do so because of the rest of the staff: Ramón, Juan, and Dani. They send us photos and videos of her and the care is exceptional; you can tell they love their job. My puppy is a large breed and very nervous, yet Juan is a GREAT trainer and is wonderful with her, offering exceptional care. He always knows how to handle and calm her down to win her over, always with great affection. With him, the dog is completely different; he managed to remove her fear of water and bathes her without any issues, with both of them enjoying bath time. If it weren't for them, neither I nor other clients would continue taking our pups there, because as I mentioned before, the receptionist's attitude is not good at all. Thank you Ramón, Juan, and Dani!!

My experience with VillaMascota was very so-so. When I dropped off my dog Mía, they didn't explain anything to me and rushed me out very quickly without wanting to know any information about feeding or other details, telling me to send it via WhatsApp instead. They didn't show me anything beyond her cage, nor did they tell me about the activities or how the facility operates. We wanted to express our dissatisfaction with how our pet was received and sent a message via WhatsApp as the lady told us to do, but they didn't respond until the next day. I paid in advance to make things easier, but in the end we were able to pick up the dog a day early, and they didn't refund the money for the extra night we paid for, claiming they didn't have change and would give us a discount next time… which goes without saying, I'm never leaving her there again. Conclusion: I hope you enjoy that extra money.

The worst customer service in the world. They might take good care of the dogs, but their organization is disastrous. They don't have staff to cover for those on vacation. If you are going to use them for the pick-up service, look for another place; they don't take responsibility for their actions and leave the customer stranded whenever they can.

We left our dog for one night. To be honest, he seemed tired when we picked him up, but we didn't like that they wouldn't let us help our pup get familiar with the crate. I went in with him, and as soon as he turned around, they told me to run out.

We have two large dogs. One of them is reactive, and we were worried about leaving her with people she doesn't know. We had a pleasant surprise. She behaved wonderfully, and they treated them super well. We left them for a whole week. Every day they make sure to send you photos and videos of the dogs and keep you updated on everything they do (whether they eat or not, behavior, etc.). We will definitely bring them back.

If you want to leave your pet in the best hands, this is the place for you. I am thrilled; I've had my dog here for over a year because pets are not allowed where I live. I visit him daily, and it is supervised 24 hours a day. The staff are very friendly and attentive to everything. Highly recommended place to leave your pet. Also, if they need to give them medication, they administer it on time, and they are very well taken care of.

I left my pet here for a few days and honestly it was good, but only so-so. I paid for indoor boarding with heating since it gets very cold at night, but when I picked him up, he was sick with a cold at home. I don't know if they really turned on the heating, but there's no way for me to know that. They take pretty good care of them and take them out to play in their designated areas. That said, don't bring your pet freshly bathed because they will come back filthy. They give you a WhatsApp number so you can ask how your pet is doing, and they send you photos. I would repeat the experience.

To be honest, we were quite happy with the place itself. The sleeping area is quite large, and it's covered as well, which is a big plus. Also, if your dog is a bit problematic like mine, they take them out to an enclosure alone so they can run and play for a bit, which is appreciated. The guy who assisted us, David, was super nice and pleasant. If you ask for photos or videos of your dog, they kindly send them to you, so overall, everything was very good. We left our dog for a weekend; when we went to pick him up, he was in a pen out in the sun. He was very thirsty when we got home, and the person who assisted us couldn't tell us how he had eaten or relieved himself, even though we had left his own food because he has a sensitive stomach. It's a shame because we wanted to leave him there on more occasions, but we will look for another place.

Hello, good afternoon. I have always left my dog there and never had any problems, but today, Sunday, I got the shock of my life. As I said before, I have always left my dog there, but I will not be leaving him anymore. When I went to pick him up, the kennel was full of poop, with no water, and my dog was covered in wounds and bites, extremely thin. The dog only came out when Ramón saw us arriving at 1:00 in the afternoon. My dog never relieves himself indoors even if he's bursting; how many hours was my dog kept inside without going out? You don't charge cheap, nor do I think it's overly expensive, but at the very least the dogs should be kept in decent conditions, because I always recommend this place to people I know and now I feel terrible about it.

I wouldn't leave my dogs here even if they paid me. Deplorable treatment towards the dogs. They drag them around with choke collars (even though owners bother to leave the dogs' walking gear), they leave them alone and unsupervised for hours on end in the yards, come rain or shine, with no shelter and sometimes not even water. I have seen dogs making their teeth bleed from biting the fence and the staff couldn't care less. Sometimes they come in just to take pictures to send to the family, and as soon as they get what they need they leave, leaving the dog alone again. They clean the kennels by spraying them with hoses, not caring if they soak the dog and their blankets or bed. Many things need to change in that place, starting with the staff working there.

Very poor service from the woman in administration, extremely rude and threatening not to let us take the dog, when EVERYTHING WAS PAID FOR and the issue was entirely their fault due to clear mismanagement on their end. I brought the dog on Sunday morning; they had experienced a power outage and part of the office was burned, so the young man who assisted me, who was lovely, told me that the card terminal wasn't working to take payments. He tried turning it on and off, but it didn't work. So I asked him how I could pay since cards weren't accepted. He told me they would call me on Monday or Tuesday with the bank account number to make a wire transfer, and he noted down several phone numbers on the file so they could reach me. Nobody called me on Monday, nor on Tuesday. I called on Tuesday afternoon, but nobody returned my call. Today, Wednesday, I called twice in the morning and no one answered. They called me back at 10:11, and I asked for the account number to make the payment and an email address to send the receipt. The woman was very unpleasant, extremely blunt, and had terrible manners; she didn't even know which dog was leaving or whether it was paid for or not... When I explained what had happened on Sunday, I managed to get the details from her, and I told her I would transfer the money immediately and send the receipt to two different emails, asking her to call me back if she didn't receive it. I made the transfer at 10:12 (Bankia sent them an automated receipt email right away), and at 10:19 I sent it again from my personal email. Not only did I have to chase them down just to pay, but the person who went to pick up the dog—since it was traveling for a rescue transport—was threatened with not being allowed to take the dog when EVERYTHING WAS ALREADY PAID, and they didn't even bother calling me to say they hadn't received the receipt... Even though I sent it twice to ensure they got it and that she wouldn't have any issues. A very unpleasant experience, especially since the problem was theirs from the very start. I have never had to chase anyone down just to pay, only to be treated poorly for it and threatened when the payment was already completed. I WILL NOT REPEAT THIS EXPERIENCE, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM.

Great! Andrés and Ramón are incredible! When the state of alarm started across the country in March, my parents had to leave Spain for medical reasons. They couldn't take Aquiles, their German Shepherd, with them because the offices for issuing travel documents were closed. We took Aquiles to VillaMascota in March, right in the middle of quarantine. They welcomed him with the utmost care and looked after him for 4 months until we were able to take him. They kept us updated, sent photos and videos, and Aquiles was always so happy and healthy! Andrés and Ramón were wonderful! When I needed a vet to come examine him for the travel health certificate, they arranged it so kindly! I can only thank them both and VillaMascota! When we went to pick them up, they smelled terrible, they were covered in mud, and the bed we left went straight into the trash because it stank. He made us wait at reception and took a while to bring my dogs out. Honestly, it made me very suspicious. Specifically, this time I was assisted by a young Latino guy. The other times I used the service, I was assisted by a girl and another guy who were much more professional and without cheap secrecy. P.S.: I left a bag with enough food for 4 days, even though they were only staying for a day and a half. I gave instructions on both portions and feeding times, as well as a measuring scoop. When I picked them up (after leaving them for just a day and a half), the bag was empty... I imagine he just filled their bowl and called it a day... obviously very unhappy about it.

For the first time in 10 years, we had to leave our dog in a place like this, and we couldn't have chosen a better place. The professionalism and care provided by the sitters is a pleasure; they keep you informed at all times with photos and videos of how your pet is doing. For all of that, and seeing how happy he looked when we picked him up, we can only be grateful for the incredible treatment we received.

We have always been happy with the treatment from Ramón, to whom I give 5 stars. We have been leaving our dog there for over 7 years, exclusively there, and at least 3 times a year for an average of a week each time. It is true that he comes back super dirty when picked up, but he goes in happy and we trust their care. The surprise came this last time. Without notifying us when dropping him off, they removed the night voucher pass, which was supposed not to expire and made it much cheaper, and they raised the price... this turned out costing us quite a bit more, and it frustrates us that, being regular customers and having given so many recommendations for value for money, they could have had the courtesy to notify us before drop-off... we feel deceived. We will look for another place for our dog.

I have been leaving my dog there for three years and we are super happy, both dog and owner. Special thanks to Juan and Ramón for their dedication and love for animals. If I have to mention a downside or make a suggestion, it's that they extend their Sunday hours, since that's the day people usually return from trips, and closing at five in the afternoon makes it practically impossible to arrive on time.

I took my female German Shepherd there for the first and last time for a weekend trip, and when I picked her up they told me that my dog has a serious aggression problem and that they couldn't clean her kennel because she supposedly wouldn't let them. What I saw was that they had her living in her own feces and without water. They made me get her out myself, and the "supposed" caretaker rudely and ill-temperedly told me to take her out myself in case she bit him. I was stunned because I have taken my dog to other pet facilities and have never had any complaints from them; my dog lives with a baby and even a cat she plays with. I do not recommend this place at all; there are other places with much more polite staff where you can leave your pets.

After scheduling a meeting with the director and managers to report, among many other things, that the dog had contracted scabies at the facility (long-term stay, they lived there) as confirmed by vets, they refused to take responsibility. The treatment from management was pathetic, poor, disrespectful—like something out of a movie—not to mention the hygiene, which is... disgusting. Needless to say, these so-called "managers" showed up to the meeting with beer in hand and clearly tipsy, with trash cans full of beer cans—truly an embarrassing sight. Not Villamascota, think "Beer-pet" instead.

In my opinion, it is an ideal place for dogs to have a great time. The best part, Ramón and Juan, who are always attentive to ensure the dogs are as well off as possible, always doing everything with immense affection for the animals as their top priority. The facilities are quite well-maintained, and the kennels, with their enclosed private area and a small patio for each dog, allow them to be very comfortable in both winter and summer. The play areas where they take the dogs out to run and play with other dogs are also incredible, always keeping an eye out to make sure there are no conflicts between them. Finally, the proximity of Villamascotas to Madrid, Getafe, and other nearby towns is also an advantage.

I don't know how he did it, but in seconds both of them obeyed his commands. With someone like that taking care of my pet, I feel very reassured. Dogs have behaviors of their own that are difficult for owners to handle. Today I was delighted with how professional Juan is. I wanted to express my gratitude, and I will continue bringing my dog as I have so many times before. I have a Czechoslovakian Vlcak (CSV/PLC) with socialization issues. Due to work, I've occasionally had to leave him at different pet hotels in Madrid. At some of them, they wouldn't accept him because of his apparent fear-based aggression, and at the ones that did take him, the dog spent the entire stay locked up due to the staff's lack of involvement or know-how. I must say that from the moment he entered this hotel, Ramón stayed by his side until he accepted him. He treats him as if he were his own, both he and Juan, and regarding the other pets, it's more of the same from what I see every time I go. It's true that the facilities are not the best in Madrid, but the human touch and care my dog has received here cannot be found anywhere else, and that is priceless.

I had a small misunderstanding with the young man; we called and were told that we could pick him up in the afternoon even though it was a holiday, and then we confirmed picking him up in the afternoon with the manager as well. When we arrived to drop Kun off, the guy told us no... so upon leaving I wrote to the manager again, and she called me very kindly and confirmed that I could indeed pick him up in the afternoon and that someone would be there. Kun was fine there, and I would definitely repeat.

Grateful for taking care of our Thor just as if he were in his own home. Being able to go on vacation with the reassuring look from your child knowing that their dog will be fine, and having the absolute certainty that it will be so, makes our vacations truly restful, and that is priceless. Thank you so much, Villamascota Hotel! You improved our lives the day we met you; trust is priceless.
