I don't recommend it at all! The road to get there will destroy your car if you don't have an SUV/4x4. And when you see the place, you hesitate about whether to leave your dog! Dealing with them was mediocre... and the last straw was seeing how the animal was!!! Thin, sad, hoarse. I am sure they walk them less than they claim. And I see that I am NOT the only one affected. Very bad experience!

We are Uli and Daniel from Premià de Mar! We are super happy with Kynoikos and our dogs are too. They spent a week "at camp" at Kynoikos and have just returned. They look very clean and happy. The owners of Kynoikos are affectionate and took very good care of them! Thank you very much, dear Irene, Mai, and Vicente!!! 😀🥰🤗❤❤❤

First time we've been there and the first time leaving Ares at a dog boarding facility. They were very kind to us and to Ares, everything went perfectly, and it gave us peace of mind knowing we have a place to leave him whenever we need to. Ares has been through several difficult situations, and we were worried about how he would handle being left in an unfamiliar place without us; plus, he is still very young, large, and energetic, but he was very well accompanied and cared for. The setting is pure mountain, a very quiet and natural place for dogs. Thank you so much!! IMPORTANT: It's easy to get there; we did it at night and in a Clio (with patience and care along the mountain trail section). You just have to put 'Can Boquet' in Vilassar de Dalt into Google Maps; once there, ignore Maps and follow the directions on the Kynoikos website and/or look out for the signposts that guide you.

This is not the ideal boarding facility to leave your dogs. Some friends left theirs here, and weeks later they were returned with marks on their necks from having spent days tied up. Be very careful about where you leave your furry friends. Big businesses that profit from this don't always look out for the dog's well-being 🙏🏽

I have two dogs, Duna and Bruc, who will be turning 14. And I've been trusting the Kinoikos family since they were very little to take care of my fur babies whenever I go on vacation. Both are thrilled when I drop them off. During their stay, they keep sending me videos and photos so I can see them, since I miss them. And whenever I pick them up, they are in the exact same condition as when I left them—in short, cared for just like at home. 100% recommended.

The boarding facility is very nice; it is located in the middle of the mountains in a quiet place with lots of shaded areas, and the plots are large. I brought my American Staffordshire Terrier and they had no issues with the breed (there are other boarding places that won't accept him). Above all, do not follow Google's directions; the way is very well marked with arrows, and Google Maps takes you down made-up paths where you can easily get your car stuck.

A classic place that's all for show! When you arrive it might seem charming, but the truth is it's not a place to leave your pet! The facilities consist of small concrete kennels, cold and damp, the only shelter they have from the rain. We went to walk a friend's dog who had left him there for the whole month, and we ended up taking him away. He was visibly neglected, had eye discharge down to his muzzle, and his nose was completely raw. My friend had left his bed and three blankets, and he only had one small blanket that the lady threw into the kennel without even shaking it out. When we asked about the bed and the other blankets, she told us she had washed them after the rainy days (A LIE!); she brought them out from the floor of the cat cages, completely filthy and covered in mud. Also, during the entire time the dog stayed there, they never sent any photos to my friend... that's why we went to check on him. They were supposed to walk the dog twice a day, but I seriously doubt they did because there is no one qualified to walk a large dog. When we wanted to take the dog, as if that weren't enough, the lady started hurling insults at us nastily. I do not recommend anyone who loves their pet to leave them in this place.

A dog and cat boarding facility where each animal has its own individual cabin with an outdoor patio, everything is super clean and well cared for. And right in the middle of the forest, very peaceful. We left Patoleta for 5 days and we loved it! Irene, the owner, and her family personally take care of all the little animals; if you ask, they give you daily updates and send pictures. The setting is natural; the pet enclosures are on soil rather than concrete, surrounded by the shade of trees. The family who takes care of them lives on-site and sends photos via WhatsApp. Perhaps the cat enclosures are a bit small, and for skittish cats, having other cats so close (in their own pens) suddenly makes adjusting more difficult. But overall, we are happy. The place is very nice, although you shouldn't follow Google Maps to get there—follow the road signs instead, as it is hard to reach being deep in the heart of the mountains.

We had several issues... We called to make a 19-day reservation, and finally, the day before it started, we called to update it to 18. This extra day that we didn't use due to personal reasons was charged to us anyway, even though when my mother went to drop off the puppy, they had no record of the reservation... During the stay, when we asked for updates about our puppy, they were very attentive with us; no complaints about that. The first surprise, besides being charged for the extra day... was when I saw that my dog was covered in dust and dirty (I understand they are in the mountains, but there are minimum standards). Finally, upon arriving home, I got 3 more surprises... The dog was very hoarse from barking so much (I assume from the dust and the other dogs barking), he had conjunctivitis, and the flea pipette had not been applied as requested.

During this December long weekend, we left our two dogs at this boarding kennel after seeing the positive Google reviews stating that they were very attentive and kept owners updated daily on their dogs' condition. Unfortunately, that was not the case; we left them for 5 days and they only messaged us on 2 days—one just to say everything was fine, and the other more than 24 hours after we had messaged them asking how they were and requesting at least one photo. The feeling was that they were completely neglected and abandoned, and this was confirmed today when we picked them up. When we took them, we noticed our female dog's ear was completely wet and sticky, and upon checking, she had a significant infection, and we even found bits of dried blood on her bed. The kennel owners hadn't even noticed, which means they didn't pay attention to them during these 5 days because it was extremely noticeable; on top of that, she wouldn't stop whining about her ear, shaking her head constantly, scratching... it is impossible not to notice! We are definitely very sad to see how our pets were treated during these 5 days.

He is a very mistrustful animal, and at Kynoikos they didn't push past the boundaries he communicated, giving him the best possible experience given his personality. Very professional and caring about our pets' well-being. He was in a 20m2 plot that has a great-sized shelter to take refuge in. A very difficult place to get to, and in the area where the dogs are kept, many barely had any spot that provided shade. I didn't like it, and that's why we didn't leave our dog there.

It's the first time we've left Bruno here and we are very happy. It is a place surrounded by nature run by a family who is passionate about animals. Better to go during daylight, as you have to take dirt roads/paths to get there. We will definitely be back; Bruno couldn't be in better hands.

I discovered Kynoicos more than 15 years ago and since then I have taken my cats there every year (like a summer camp) for periods ranging from 3 days to 2 months (for holidays, moving house...). I have always been SUPER happy with the care they received and how well looked after they were! I don't have the slightest complaint, on the contrary!!!! The place is fantastic, the facilities are great, and Mey, Irene, and Vicens are wonderful people; they enjoy their work and truly love animals. This year my Lupo and Kali passed away at 18 and 16 years old... Thank you Kynoicos, together we took great care of them.

A boarding facility in the middle of the woods, an open space with individual plots where our dog was wonderfully well. We are very happy with how they treated him and the service they provided us. Great punctuality at the time of pick-up and drop-off of the dog. Sam looked so good in the photos they sent us! Thank you Irene.

For almost 20 years, I have been bringing my little dogs to Kynoikos—Simba, Tom, Jerry, and Toby successively, year after year. For me, it's a guarantee of peace of mind to leave for work or vacation when I can't take them with me, knowing that they will be well cared for, fed, have plenty of space in the woods, and will be taken to the vet if the need arises. During long stays, I have received WhatsApp messages and photos showing how they were doing. A few minor issues they had with Simba and Jerry were resolved very satisfactorily, and I am very grateful to them for that. On occasion, a neighbor has come to the house to give them food and water, but they spend many hours alone without the company of other dogs, and in the end, they get even more stressed. For me, Kynoikos is the best option.

A few months ago some friends recommended it to us, and the truth is that our furry ones couldn't be better 🐕. The grounds are very large and you can tell they are very comfortable whenever they go! They give us a lot of peace of mind.

Totally delighted!!! It was the first time we left Terry and Neula, and honestly, we were very pleased with the care they were given, the good quality food, the affection they show towards the animals, and the spacious and clean facilities. What I liked the most was that after just 4 days, when we went to pick them up, they mentioned details about our little ones that showed they truly spent time getting to know them. Very professional, we now have complete peace of mind for next time.

HIGHLY recommended boarding facility. We have taken our cat and dog there on several occasions. Spacious, very clean facilities and the animals are very well cared for; when you pick them up, they are not stressed and return home happy. Without a doubt, the best one we have ever taken them to. Absolutely recommended, no doubts!

We are delighted to leave our 4 kittens at the boarding facility. I travel a lot and they are very well cared for there. At first, I felt uneasy about being separated from them because I didn't know if they would be okay, but as soon as I saw the place, how they care for them, and how much they love animals, I was amazed. We have peace of mind knowing they take great care of them there. Now they even pick them up from our house, so we don't even have to travel. They always reply to our WhatsApp messages and send us photos and videos of our kittens. Our household Hujosaki will continue leaving them at Kynoikos!!
