You can truly see the love, dedication, and care they have for the animals, which is essential to me whenever I leave my fur babies in someone else's care. The personal service is unbeatable; their nutrition and pet products, along with the advice they provide, show that they truly know what they are doing. We left our 9-month-old puppy for 15 days, and the experience was excellent. Every day they sent us photos and videos of her, even without us having to ask. For us, it was super reassuring to hear about her daily and see her happy, playing, and socializing with other dogs. The first few days she was a little shy, but as the days went by, we could see her becoming more and more comfortable and content. In the last videos, she could even be seen following the person caring for her, which gave us great peace of mind seeing the bond and trust she had built. The care, attention, and friendliness of all the staff were incredible. You can really tell they care for the dogs with a lot of love and dedication. 100% recommended. We would definitely board our puppy with them again.

It exceeded my expectations

My experience with Residencia Canina Ecocan (Picassent) has been very frustrating and forced me to go to Consumer Protection. I booked remotely by paying an €83 transfer. During the initial informative visit, the person in charge stated that an essential condition to guarantee our spot 3 MONTHS in advance was purchasing their pet food, charging us €60 in cash for a bag without ever offering a receipt or invoice. A week later, when we were given an appointment to view the facilities, the tour lasted barely 10 minutes and the person in charge spent the rest of the time talking about nutrition again. Since I was booking a boarding service, I did not understand such sales push regarding food over the accommodation itself. Barely 27 hours after that visit, I had to cancel the service due to an unavoidable cancellation of my vacation. The company flatly refused to refund the booking deposit, relying on a WhatsApp audio message in which they attempted to verbally restrict the right to a refund only to requests made "on the same day" as the visit. I tried to resolve the situation by asking for the amount in pet food, but they refused. The only alternatives they offered were to maintain a pet food subscription (buying food from them) for an entire year to hold the reservation for the following year, or to wait for someone else to book the spot (which is inconsistent if it shows up on the website as booked). They want to get paid twice for the same spot. I had to file a complaint through the consumer affairs office (OMIC). I advise future clients to always demand a receipt or invoice for any cash payment at this facility and to carefully scrutinize their contractual policies regarding unforeseen circumstances. Not recommended at all.

The worst place I could have left my dog. He went in healthy without any kind of marks, and when I went to the vet they told me he had kick marks, or at least that's what it looked like. They say the dog sleeps in a little dog bed, but that's a lie and the rooms they stay in are not healthy. I left my dog for a month, dropping him off well-fed, and when I picked him up he showed signs of malnutrition. I have seen how one of the workers kicks the dogs just for walking past him. In my opinion... it was the worst place I have ever left my dog...

I left my dog for 5 days and I can say it was a very, very good experience and highly recommended. Every day they sent me photos and videos, she looked happy... and when I picked her up I could see she was with a huge pack of dogs, which was great for her to socialize and learn to get along with each other!! Everything was great. The pet food we ordered on the website took 48 hours to arrive. It is of very good quality, especially for my dog who needs to eat hypoallergenic food. They included a nice little gift in the box of some natural snacks.

A dog boarding facility that features a pool and large areas of land to run, play, and have a great time. We left our dog there for the weekend, and honestly, the furry girl had a blast. They sent us videos and photos, and she looked super happy; she arrived home exhausted from playing so much and having such a good time. We've been leaving our dogs here for a year and we are very happy with the boarding facility. Our dogs always go happily, and for us, that says it all. You can tell they are comfortable and wonderfully cared for because, as soon as they recognize where they are, they get super happy. When they see the caretakers, they greet them joyfully and even pull on the leash because they can't wait to go inside. It brings great peace of mind to leave them in a place where they feel so good. We trusted Ecocan a few months ago because our dog has socialization difficulties, both with people and with other dogs, and we were a little worried. From day one, his adaptation has been incredible. He integrated seamlessly into the pack, plays freely, and thoroughly enjoys all the spaces they have available (pool, grass, fountains...). The best dog boarding kennel in Spain. No cages for the dogs, just regular rooms. The rooms are used for sleeping and taking a break from the heat; otherwise, they spend their time outdoors, all socializing together. They have a pool and water fountains in all their yards. The dogs look happy and seem to be really enjoying themselves. They help you with a nutrition plan. They also offer grooming services. If you'd like, they can send personalized photos and videos of your pup for your peace of mind. After visiting several boarding facilities, I haven't found another one like it.

I'm giving two stars to share my experience and help prospective clients. The thing is, I called full of excitement because it really seems like a great boarding facility for our little ones, no doubt about that. However, when I called, Adrian, who told me he is the manager, said they do have vacancies, but they are reserved for customers of their nutrition plan (apparently they also offer pet nutrition, which is undeniably an advantage). The reason for my low review is not the facility itself, which as I said seems more than adequate, but the fact that the manager himself tells you that your pet would have a spot only if you had previously bought food from them (because buying it today wouldn't help to get your pet boarded, as that would obviously look terrible). And the thing is, I think it's completely legitimate for a business to operate like this: 1.- 'Are you a nutrition client? You have 85% of the spots reserved for you at any time.' 2.- 'Not a client? Then you only have 15% of the spots available, provided there is availability.' Which, as you can deduce, if there were room for 100 dogs, only 15 would be new, so you'd have to book waaaay in advance (one or two years ahead) or get 'lucky' enough that there are barely any bookings (which I doubt would ever happen). Therefore, I'm posting this review simply so that any new client like me looking for a place to board their pets knows upfront that when you try to book, they will send you a standard WhatsApp/text message saying there's no availability for your pet basically because you're not a nutrition customer, along with several messages and videos of their products so that in the future you might have a chance to book a spot with them (remember: only if you buy food from them beforehand). In the end, this is a conditional sale, and THAT IS NOT SPECIFIED ON THE WEBSITE. This information is only given to you, as I said, once you reach out to book. In my case, I called first, and you can imagine the look on my face when they told me there are spots, but not for my pet because I'm not a nutrition client (because I hadn't previously bought pet food from them... something I would have gladly done since they carry the same brand I feed my dog, but oh well). And I want to clarify why I am writing this: In Spain, the General Consumer Protection Law requires that before contracting, essential information about the offer and terms must be provided clearly, understandably, and accessibly. If an important condition: a) limits consumer rights, b) conditions delivery/service, c) imposes additional costs, d) restricts guarantees, e) or modifies essential purchase elements, and does not appear on the website but is communicated individually via WhatsApp, several issues arise: 1) Lack of pre-contractual information. 2) A potentially unenforceable clause, if the consumer had no real opportunity to know it before purchasing. 3) Misleading commercial practice by omission, if the omitted information was material to the purchasing decision. By the way, I spoke with Adrian and he told me he will discuss it with the web developer to add this to the website to avoid misleading, confusing, or angering new boarding clients—which I think would be great, especially to comply with consumer protection regulations. We've been bringing Akila here for about 4 years in a row! The service is always a 10/10; my dog has a great time in the summer in the pool or the fountain. I always recommend this dog boarding kennel to people I know, because there is no better place. A very good experience. Ecocan was recommended to me for the socialization workshop they do when you choose the deluxe boarding option, and honestly, not only was Togo thrilled, but we were too. I was a bit worried about our dog's behavior around other dogs he doesn't know, but there he seemed like a completely different dog. The videos they sent me of him with all the dogs were amazing; you could see they are all in very good hands and that they truly love their work. They also gave me advice on his diet, and we didn't hesitate to improve it. We will definitely bring him back from time to time so he can enjoy himself, play, and run around in such a big space.

We traveled from the United States to Spain to celebrate our wedding in Valencia, and as we continued our trip through Europe, we needed to find a safe and reliable place to board our dogs, Margot and Bean. It is the first time we have left Tanque, and I don't know who is happier: him because of the great time he had, or us because of the peace of mind knowing that he was in good hands. You can really tell the love with which they treat the furry ones. We were delighted with the service and with all the advice regarding Tanque's nutrition and care. We will definitely be back!

Warning: Abusive conditions and lack of transparency. I'm not going to talk about what the stay itself is like because I never got that far, but I will talk about the prior steps. I booked for August and, due to personal reasons, gave notice to cancel 4 months in advance, and they refuse to refund the 50% deposit I paid. To avoid refunding the money, they cite various excuses and apply their 'cancellation policies' (confusing, contradictory, and abusive) depending on the customer. The most serious issue is that they claim alleged damages as the reason for not refunding the money, yet I verified that just 3 days after canceling, they were already FULLY BOOKED for those dates. Thus, my cancellation causes them zero loss; they simply intend to charge twice for the exact same spot. Their terms are contradictory (they promise full refunds within 72 hours, but then claim they never refund the initial 50% deposit under any circumstances). Furthermore, when I requested the official complaint form online—since I am in Barcelona for work reasons and the service was booked online—they refused to provide it, demanding that I show up in person at their facility in Picassent, clearly attempting to hinder any formal complaint. I insist, I don't know what the actual stay is like, but beneath the facade of 'good vibes' and messages filled with AI-generated emojis, their booking management and customer service for situations that could happen to anyone are truly dreadful. Their only goal is to keep your money despite providing no service whatsoever. I have had to report this boarding facility's abusive practices to consumer protection authorities. Choose another option if you can.

A 10/10 dog boarding kennel. The entire booking process was very convenient and quick. We were welcomed by Adri, who is a trainer and an expert in nutrition and psychology; his love and dedication to animals is evident from the very first moment, and they oversee every single detail of the business. He also answers any questions you might have and recommends a diet to improve your dog's health. So from now on, we're going to buy Obi's food from EcoCan. We are thrilled with EcoCan! A very professional team. We will definitely use them again on our next trip.

Kiona stayed for a week, and everything was very proper and professional. In the videos, she looked relaxed and enjoying the surroundings freely. This is the second time we've left Bruce at Ecocan and we couldn't be happier. You can tell they love dogs, that they have no trouble being there, and that they genuinely enjoy their company. Ever since we found them, we can't imagine leaving our dog with anyone else. We haven't seen the inside of the facility in person, but based on all the videos and photos provided, the amenities are magnificent. Open fields, fountains, and a pool for them to enjoy. It's hard to find a better place to leave my little dog. He was adopted and has socialization issues with both dogs and people. After leaving him a couple of times at EcoCan daycare, the team really helped him open up and experience his stay like a vacation for him too. Finding Ecocan changed my life and the life of my dog, Ramen, an adopted mixed-breed who is quite reactive to people and other dogs due to a past of abuse. Facing an upcoming trip, the thought of leaving him at a conventional boarding kennel did not inspire any confidence. First experience based on friends' recommendations and we are very happy. Dobby is especially distrustful of people, and from not wanting to go in when we dropped him off, he ended up following the staff member around on the day we picked him up. This confirms to me that the staff treated him well and gave him any space he might have needed. The updates via WhatsApp were good, with photos and videos. Lastly, my advice for first-timers like me: your pet will be wonderfully cared for and at ease. The only thing is, if your dog is a bit special—like ours, who is afraid of people, etc.—let them know so they can help and understand them better to make their stay more pleasant. In our case, that was the case, and we are super grateful. Adrián also gave me great advice on feeding and behaviors; it was a pleasure to meet him in person. The experience was wonderful, our dog enjoyed every single day. We chose the Deluxe plan and felt that every euro was totally worth it; our dog came back looking even more handsome and cheerful, perhaps because being around other dogs and being free made him very happy. I'll share my full experience: I was looking for dog boarding facilities to leave my dogs for about two months due to a complete home renovation… I visited several and, in short, they all made me feel sad. But upon arriving at Ecocan and seeing all those dogs roaming free, in harmony with each other, along with the fact that they sleep in fully equipped rooms and not in kennels, all my doubts vanished! They offer several boarding options, and we chose the deluxe package, which includes personalized photos and videos (I'm attaching photos and videos to the review). Despite them being there for two months, when we went to visit them once a week and it was time to leave them at the facility after their walk, what impressed me the most was that upon returning from the walk and seeing the caretakers, they went crazy with excitement to see them. That's when I realized that they are 100% truly well cared for… Without a doubt, if you're thinking of leaving your furry friends at a kennel for a few days, I recommend this one because they really did a 10/10 job, both with the attention given to the animals and to the owners. My heartfelt gratitude to everyone who works at this facility!

Spectacular facilities, they let us visit and see them before bringing our dog. They have individual rooms for them, a swimming pool, socializing areas... You can tell the staff truly love animals; they treated Dama wonderfully. I had never taken any dog to a place like this before, as I always worried about how they might handle it... but after this experience and seeing all the daily videos they sent us of our dog, it gave me such peace of mind that we will bring her back even without having to go on "vacation." She is a good dog but has quite a personality, and we were hesitant about her being around off-leash dogs, but they explained that they have helper/guide dogs to socialize her gradually, since the goal was for her to mingle with all the boarding dogs during her stay. We dropped her off on a Friday, and on Saturday they sent us the first video: Dama off-leash, without a muzzle, running around with 13 or 14 dogs—unimaginable. We will definitely bring her back; she came home much calmer, and it truly is a 5-star hotel for pets. Thank you for your care and professionalism.

My dog is 4 years old and we wanted to neuter him. We couldn't have found a better place for the surgery and his post-op recovery. They took care of everything: taking him to the vet, giving him his medication, dressing his wounds... And all of this in an environment where he could go on long walks and socialize with other dogs. Even though it wasn't the best way for him to get to know the place, you can tell they treated him with so much love and professionalism. I can only say THANK YOU to the whole team. We'll be back soon so Riglos can enjoy it 100% this time! :)
