I saw that he was well cared for, had eaten well, his ears were clean, etc., and without a doubt I will use them again whenever I have to leave my furry one. Thank you for everything. I highly recommend it, and they also send videos of the furry ones every day 💫

We left Blanca and Chico at the boarding facility during our vacation and we couldn't be more grateful. They treated them with huge affection, they played a lot, and came home exhausted but happy. Every day we received videos to see how they were doing, which gave us tremendous peace of mind. Blanca, who tends to be distrustful, developed a lot of trust with Sofi, a wonderful caregiver who treated her with incredible patience and sweetness. They came back clean, relaxed, and with that joy they only have when they feel safe. We already know where to leave them for our next vacation without any worries.

I left my husky Kira for 10 days and they treated her great. I received videos every day and she looked super happy. At first, I was a bit hesitant to leave her in case she had a hard time, but not at all, I don't even think she missed me hahaha. The staff at the boarding kennel took great care of her; this won't be the last time I leave her here because I loved the service and how well-kept everything is. I think the facilities are very suitable for all the dogs, especially now in the summer with the heat, so I highly recommend this place!

Our experience was a 10/10. It was the first time leaving our two dogs, Berta and Bobby, at a boarding kennel, and we couldn't be happier with our choice. From the very first moment, they gave us great confidence and peace of mind. Berta adapted right away, but Bobby is a very fearful dog and we knew it was going to be a challenge for him. What we valued most was the professionalism and affection with which they kept us informed throughout the stay. In every video and update, they explained how they were doing, how they were progressing, and how they were adjusting, which gave us tremendous peace of mind. They told us that Bobby, little by little and day by day, was gaining confidence. When we went to pick them up, they told us they had been sweethearts and that they were even going to miss them. There is no better feeling than hearing that from the people who cared for them. Berta came back as happy and full of energy as ever, and Bobby came back calm and relaxed. We can only thank them for the affection, patience, and professionalism with which they cared for our dogs. Without a doubt, we will trust them again and recommend them 100%. 🐶❤️

I want to share my experience with Updog Almacan, which has been truly excellent. Before finding them, I had already left my dog Mila at other dog hotels here in Madrid, but unfortunately I didn't have good experiences. Since switching to Updog, everything has been completely different. They treated Mila with so much affection and professionalism, and something I deeply appreciated was that they sent me videos of her every day. That gave both my husband and me great peace of mind during our trip, because we could see that she was happy and well cared for. Furthermore, you could clearly tell she felt comfortable: she ate well and came back at the same weight, which usually doesn't happen when she dislikes a place. Without a doubt, I recommend Updog Almacan to anyone looking for a trustworthy place to leave their pet. We will definitely use them again.

A boarding facility where you can fully trust that your furry family member is in good hands. We have left our dog Frida there several times and have always picked her up happy. For a few years now, the management has also improved tremendously. They have complete control over your pet's stay (general overview as well as specific needs, particular symptoms they arrived with, and anything they need to know for follow-up). The facilities are very nice, and the staff working with the dogs is incredible. Anyone who considers their pet a true member of the family knows that traveling without them and having to leave them behind is the hardest part. However, from afar, we have always had the peace of mind knowing that Frida was enjoying herself, playing, and running around with other furry friends and the staff. They offer social media updates, though their priority is pet care and well-being rather than just posting. They also have veterinary care, grooming services (important because Frida always ends up covered in mud from playing so much!), and pick-up and drop-off services. Congratulations to the whole team and thank you for taking care of Frida as if she were at home. You make being apart from her for a few days so much easier... See you soon!

My husband, myself, and my two dogs are so happy to have found Almacan! It's a lovely place, with plenty of outdoor space where they can play and socialize with other pups. They are treated with so much love and pampering, and I know it because when they are picked up, they leave very happy and calm, which in turn leaves us feeling happy and at peace. I highly recommend it and assure you that once you try it, you'll be returning every time you need to.

Almacan dog boarding facility is a place where you can immediately feel the love and dedication toward the animals. The staff inspires great confidence: they not only have experience in dog care, but also show a warm, patient approach with both owners and pets. They make sure to understand the individual needs of each dog—whether regarding food, walks, or socialization—which brings peace of mind when leaving them in their hands. The facilities are designed to make dogs feel comfortable and safe, and the team is always attentive to maintaining a clean and pleasant environment. The treatment is very humane, with that blend of professionalism and affection that makes you feel the dogs are not just cared for, but truly pampered. In short, Almacan is an ideal boarding facility for anyone looking for a trustworthy place to leave their furry companion, knowing they will be in the hands of a team that truly enjoys their work and cares about the well-being of every animal. And on the other hand, because of the staff: very kind, and you can tell they love animals. Also, if any unexpected issue comes up, they look for a solution. I left my 2 dogs for 2 nights, and first of all, they charged me more than what I had agreed upon over the phone with the owner; but fine, whatever, once you're there you just pay it. However, when we went to pick them up, on a Monday at 12 noon, they were bursting to pee and poop. As soon as we left, before getting in the car, we had to walk them around the area. The girl told me they hadn't had time to take them out yet. Excuse me?! At 12 in the afternoon?! My dogs don't do their business inside what they consider "indoors," and who knows how many hours they spent holding it in. That happened to me in May. I wasn't going to leave a review, but 2 days ago they had the nerve to send me a WhatsApp message with an internet article about this place. I will never in my life leave my dogs here again, even if it means I can never go anywhere alone again. They didn't even show me where they were going to sleep, nor did they send photos, videos, or anything. I already told the shelter where I adopted my dogs about my experience so they never recommend it. Oh, and one of my dogs came back sick with something that must go around in places like that. We will never return.

I took my dog Orion, a Belgian Malinois, for a week. When we picked him up, it was as if he didn't know us. According to the caretaker, the dog was a bit gross because he played with his feces—something he has never done—and that he was very intense, in addition to not tolerating certain caretakers, which is strange since he has never had an issue with people. We took him home, and the dog was baring his teeth at my son and even bit my partner's face. We called to demand an explanation, and speaking with the kennel director, it turned out the dog was only taken out 3 times a day for 15 minutes, meaning they spend over 23 hours locked in crates, so it's normal that they would play with their feces. The dog came back afraid of people and with a more aggressive temperament. What's strange is that we didn't pay for the bath option, yet they still brought him out bathed, and with a significant weight loss of almost 3 kilos in one week. Ever since he left that kennel he hasn't been the same; I don't know what kind of care they provided, but for this dog it was definitely not good.

But ever since I picked her up, she has become aggressive toward other dogs and people; my baby breaks my heart, she is not the same. Now I've been doing behavioral training therapy with trainers for almost a year, and they tell me it is pure fear; she couldn't get into the carrier, it panicked her, nor get under a table... Scoundrels!!!! To avoid saying something stronger.

Overall everything was good, the facility was very nice, and the service seemed good; the dog was very happy. The only bad thing is that the dog caught something called "kennel cough" according to the vet; apparently it is not serious, but we are keeping an eye on how it progresses. The other thing I didn't like very much was that they offered us a "media" service for a 5-euro fee (they never mentioned it was an extra charge). However, the issue is that they only sent us 2 videos shared with 3 other dogs (no more than 15 seconds each) and charged me 5 euros for the "service" (I wonder if the same video was sent to the other 2 owners, since the videos weren't just of my dog). On the other hand, when I mentioned it to the front desk clerk, he got upset, and I didn't like his response; I thought it was a bit out of line.

I am sad; my dogs have returned thinner, sad, and with some aggression. The little one has started relieving himself inside the house again. I can't know what happened, but I think they were locked up for a long time. I cannot recommend it. I hope they don't reply to me saying I've got the wrong facility, like they do with all the bad reviews.

We left our dog Omen there during our vacation, for a total of 10 days. In addition, Omen has a "peculiarity" with his diet, as it is frozen BARF, and they had no problem with it at all. They even accepted the delivery for us. They also bathed him. In the videos and photos they sent us, we could see that he didn't even miss us 😂

I advise against this pet boarding facility. I left my dog for a week in perfect condition, and they returned him to me with scratches and bruises all over his face. They had no idea what could have happened, so they took no responsibility for it. A dreadful experience. I'm leaving 1 star only because it won't let me leave none.

I left my dog for 24 days and got him back 5 kilos lighter. I immediately took him to his vet, who assessed him and provided this report: a 5-kilo weight loss and an ulcer in the scrotal area (from being kept lying on a porous surface for a long time), dandruff around the neck area due to stress. Please do not leave your pets at this place, where they do not take good care of the dogs. Negligent, unqualified staff.

I brought my dog on Friday, December 23rd at 6:00 PM, and the booking was until January 2nd. My daughter returned early from her trip and decided to pick him up on Thursday the 29th, but to my surprise, they told me that I had to pay for the entirety of the reserved days. Just as I told Alfonso, I understand certain expenses, but reasonable minimums, not the full amount; in fact, they are charging me for 4 days of food that my dog will not even be at the boarding facility for. It seems they feel entirely entitled, and when my daughter arrived to pick him up, their manners and politeness left a lot to be desired. That, combined with their lack of any financial courtesy, means I will never return with my dog, and of course, I will not recommend it to anyone. Their loss. By the way, the €18.50 per day shown on their website is excluding VAT; the real price is €22. I am very sorry that they do not have a better customer service or human touch, which is quite disappointing around this time of year. I will never go back; their attitude really hurt.

I left my Siggy for 7 days without knowing them and without any references. The first impression was very positive, the attention to detail, and how beautiful and well-kept everything was. During the stay, they answered all my WhatsApp messages and sent me videos of my boy. When I went to pick him up, I found a calm, relaxed animal, with no signs of stress unlike other times at a different kennel... The final outcome couldn't have been more positive, nor could I be happier. The only drawback I have, which is why I'm not giving 5 stars, is that it's a bit pricey, but that won't stop me from bringing him back for short stays. Thank you Almacan, because the well-being of my companion in life and adventures is very important to me. Happy 2023😘🥰🐶🐾

I have left my dog at Almacán twice. The first time was last Easter, and the second this summer. During the first stay, he got an upset stomach and Almacán's response was top-notch. They took him to a vet they trust, and I was kept informed about how he was doing at all times, both by the vets and by the kennel. They noticed something wasn't right and knew what to do without hesitation. When I picked him up from the vet, they told me that if they had taken any longer to react, who knows what could have happened to the dog. Months later, for the summer, we left him there again with the confidence of knowing he is in good hands, that they know how to spot and understand my dog's needs, and with the peace of mind that if anything happens, they will know how to react. They sent me photos and videos while he was with them, and I couldn't have been more at ease. Soon we will be leaving him again for a couple of days, and I definitely recommend it as a dog boarding facility.

Very poor customer service from the owners; they don't care about your pet, it's all about money. I brought my dog today and went to pick him up half an hour later; they wanted to charge me an extra day for not picking him up in the morning, and I was dropping him off at 7:00 PM. They are not friendly at all. When I told the owner that I was going to pick him up because I didn't agree with the terms, he responded so poorly that it bordered on disrespect. In short, I do NOT recommend it. Make sure you get all the details beforehand, because it is not what it seems.

My pup came back spotless; I added the bath for 20 euros and when I picked him up he smelled like soap and was super happy. They followed all the instructions I gave them, and you can tell the dog was pampered and happy. I also purchased the videos and photo service, and seeing him gives you more peace of mind during your vacation. I'm sorry, but I neither recommend nor would I ever take my dog back there. First of all, while I was checking in, they took the little dog away, and before leaving, I couldn't even say goodbye to him or see the room where he was staying. They also offered me the option to pay 5 euros more to receive daily photos and videos, which turned out to be false, because once I asked for those videos, they told me I was only entitled to one video and one photo. On more than one occasion, they told me they didn't charge for the pick-up day, but when I went to pick up the dog, it turned out that was only if it was before 2:00 PM, so I had to pay for the full day. I also paid 20 euros to pick him up bathed, and the dog smelled terrible when they returned him to me. Besides this, the dog was extremely anxious in the car on the way back and had dandruff in his coat from the stress he endured; in fact, to this day, he is still very sad. Obviously, I don't blame anyone for this, and the caretakers actually seemed quite nice, but what shocked me was that the man at the front desk told me the dog had a great time, something I am convinced is completely false.

Today I picked up my boys Mak (a smooth collie / short-haired border collie) and Zeus (a large German Shepherd). They greeted me super happy and were very affectionate with their caregivers. From the beginning, I was amazed by all the open space they have to enjoy, even inside the kennels themselves. It's not like other places where they keep them closed between four walls or all together in very small spaces. Here, they kept showing me through weekly videos how they were playing outdoors and receiving lots of care. They took such good care of them that they came back a bit chubbier. I came recommended by another boarding facility, and it's definitely a place to return to. My experience was a pleasure.

Momentum NaturaVerified Google review Posted on 5 August 2022

I'm giving them one star because the initial service was fine, but afterwards, they proved incapable of caring for a 9 kg medium-sized dog. A calm dog who couldn't be more affectionate becomes a problem for them because, out of fear, he tried to climb a fence, and they immediately labeled him an escape artist... An escape artist is one who wanders off at will when at home or on familiar ground, but in an unknown place it wouldn't even cross his mind, because I know him and have seen him hundreds of times. In my opinion, they are not professionals, and I don't believe they are trainers capable of handling all types of animals. I have thousands of photos of my dog enjoying nature without running away. Then they insinuate to us that they wonder what kind of environment the dog lives in to react like that. Well, he lives in a neighborhood in Madrid that is quite spacious with plenty of nature. In my opinion, which is just my own, they are poor professionals. It's a dog boarding facility... where everything looks lovely on their website... 20,000 square meters of space for your dog to enjoy with total security... maximum security... websites are very pretty, but reality is quite different... if that were true, they wouldn't have called me after just 2 hours. I will not be returning, and I'm sorry if this offends.

Last week we left a dog and a cat (Sandy and Moka). After the first night, they called us saying the cat had escaped. Reading the other reviews, we realized this isn't the first time this has happened with pets. (Luckily, he turned up on the last day). It is incomprehensible that these incidents happen in a place dedicated to pet care. On the last day, when we went to pick up the pets, they demanded payment for the dog's stay. Plus an additional €20 for a bath that was never requested (they had told us it would be free). We are very dissatisfied with this service. NOT RECOMMENDED

At home, we noticed she had a bad scratch on the inside of her thigh and a considerable wound on a paw. We don't doubt she got it while playing, but we would have liked to be informed; when we mentioned it to them as an observation, their response was quite rude. A few days ago I left my 12-year-old dog for almost two weeks at Almacan. He came back fine, but with a small cut on his tear duct. They explained that they hadn't seen it and that it might have happened while cleaning his eye discharge (he has a bad temper when his eyes need cleaning), even though in all the time I've had him I have never injured him. Aside from that, his eyes weren't cleaned very well considering he had been bathed the day before being returned to me. To clarify: he is an elderly Westie whose eyes and ears need to be rigorously cleaned daily. Finally, I never received an invoice for the total cost of the stay and special care, nor did they inform me how much extra the ear care would cost that I mentioned the day they picked him up (I went to the vet the day before and was prescribed medication and guidelines for this care), so I miscalculated the cost of the stay. It is true that they allowed me to pay the difference via Bizum since they only accept cash payments. In conclusion, it is a good place to leave a pet, but perhaps not so much for one that requires such personalized care.

On April 28th, I left my cats at this boarding facility. The cats escaped, and they were only able to catch one of them; the other one is still missing. They didn't even know what the cat they lost looked like. They kept telling me they were seeing her around the area, but it turns out that wasn't the case—when I sent them a picture of the cat so they could put up posters, they told me they were looking for a different cat, that they thought she looked different. They certainly show very little professionalism and assume no responsibility: you leave your pet with them, they lose it, and act like nothing happened. Apparently, according to the reviews, this isn't the first animal that has gone missing at this facility. Naturally, after this experience, I regret having left my cats at this place. I will keep looking for Kity, even though three months have passed, because I care and want to find her; they just washed their hands of it, knowing it's their fault! Here are the pictures of the cat they lost!

A little later, my husband calls asking about the exact same dates and, what a coincidence, they suddenly have available spots again. I don't know if it was just a big coincidence or if there are certain questions that make them uncomfortable.

Totally recommendable boarding facility; my pets were in heaven with them, and both the owners and staff care for the animals with such professionalism and affection that you can leave them with complete peace of mind, knowing they will be very well taken care of!! Thank you so much for the way you treated us!!

I frequently use boarding kennels for my 3 dogs and have tried several over time. Almacan has been a discovery that I don't plan on giving up. It's located in Alalpardo and the signage is a bit scarce. That is my only critique. I had been given recommendations for Vanesa and that's why I went. She is the manager and you can tell she lives for dogs; she knows how to handle them and understands them. She cares about them, about each and every one of them. I recommend it one hundred percent. Try it and let me know. Thank you very much, Vanesa.

My dog came back acting very strange after leaving him for a week at this boarding facility. He has been to different boarding kennels many times and has never returned the way he did from this one. They asked us to buy a flea/tick pipette so they could apply it upon arrival, and they brought him back to us with the pipette exactly as we had handed it to them. When they pick him up, they transport them in a 1980s Mercedes with tiny space in a crate inside the trunk. In addition, they demand payment in cash and not by bank transfer or card. Unfortunately, our dog passed away 15 days after returning from this facility due to bacterial meningitis at only 5 years of age. Don't just look at the 5-star ratings when choosing a place for your life companion, as I am sure they are from family members or acquaintances. I hope this review helps. Best regards to all.

An ideal place for pets, with very pleasant treatment from both the owner and their staff. The facilities have everything necessary for your pet to feel right at home. Highly recommended place.

All the 5-star reviews are from buddies and family. If you love your dog, find them a good place. Years ago, my mother trusted them to look after our 2 dogs during a vacation, and they lost one of them. We handed over two dogs, and when we returned from vacation, we only picked up one. They washed their hands of the whole thing.

The best place where you can leave your pet with complete peace of mind. They treat him wonderfully; my dog arrives happy when I drop him off and doesn't want to get in the car when I pick him up. I recommend it 100%. The person in charge of the dogs is lovely.

After visiting a few dog boarding kennels, I'm so glad I found Educaza! Recommended by a friend. My dog is happy there and treated very well. He stayed for 2 weeks over Christmas and on weekends too. Thank you!

I will never bring another animal to them. They were not able to show us the facilities and returned our cat starving and scared, also smelling like a farmyard or chicken coop. On top of that, they charge per day (not per night), so they charge you for the day you drop it off and the day you pick it up (regardless of the time). Never again.
